This home has many tasteful updates – the master bathroom remodel and sunroom addition being the highlights in my opinion. The property has been well maintained and is situated on a nice lot.
The only hindrance that may arise in the eyes of some buyers is the basement, which is mostly unfinished, aside from an outdated 3/4 bath and non-conforming bedroom.
As such, the price per finished square foot was a bit high, but I believe the updates and additional square footage provided by the sunroom will overshadow the lack of finished basement and the list price of $485k will be on point for buyers. This is further evidenced by the fact that as I type, the home as already gone under contract (it only took 3 days). I imagine they close right around the list price.
All in all a very nice property in a great neighborhood. The home was staged nicely, marketed well, and priced appropriately, which lead to a short period on market before going under contract.
